What's new in Prodlytix
Product updates, improvements, and fixes — shipped approximately every 2 weeks.
Path Explorer: upstream and downstream views
Path Explorer now shows both directions from any anchor event. Click any event in your dashboard and see every path leading to it and every path following it — weighted by user count.
Release markers on retention charts
You can now annotate your retention curves with release markers. Pin a date, describe the change, and see the exact impact on your retention curve over the following 30 days.
Auto-discovery now runs daily on Growth plan
Previously weekly, the auto-discovery engine now runs every day on the Growth plan, ensuring your retention sequence reflects the most recent 30 days of behavioral data.
Snowflake connector in GA
The Snowflake warehouse connector is now generally available on the Scale plan. Connect via a read-only service account; Prodlytix handles schema detection and query optimization automatically.
Funnel time window comparison
Compare the same funnel across two time windows side-by-side. Ideal for measuring the impact of onboarding changes, pricing experiments, or product releases on conversion.
Behavioral cohort builder
Create cohorts based on event completion, event count, time-to-event, and event sequences. The cohort builder replaces the previous manual cohort definition workflow.
Segment webhook delivery retry logic
Fixed an issue where events sent via the Segment webhook would occasionally be dropped during high-volume periods. The delivery retry queue now handles backpressure correctly.
BigQuery and Redshift warehouse connectors (beta)
Connect your BigQuery or Amazon Redshift cluster directly to Prodlytix. Give us a read-only service account and we'll handle schema detection automatically. Available to Scale plan beta users.
Retention curves now support 60 and 90-day windows
In addition to 7, 14, and 30-day retention, you can now plot bounded retention up to 90 days. Useful for products with longer time-to-value or annual billing cycles.
iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) SDKs GA
The iOS and Android SDKs are now generally available. Both ship with automatic session tracking, offline event queuing, and the same identify / track API as the web SDK.
Alerts and anomaly detection
Set thresholds on any tracked event or funnel step. Prodlytix alerts you via email or Slack when event counts spike or drop beyond your configured range — catch activation regressions before they become churn spikes.
RudderStack source connector
Add Prodlytix as a destination directly from your RudderStack pipeline. All existing RudderStack event sources — web, mobile, server — now route to Prodlytix without SDK changes.
Funnel analysis with cohort overlays
Build conversion funnels for any event sequence and overlay behavioral cohorts side-by-side. Compare funnel completion rates for users who hit your activation milestone vs. those who didn't.
Auto-Discovery Engine v2 — sequence ranking by retention correlation
The auto-discovery algorithm now ranks detected sequences by their 30-day retention correlation coefficient, not just frequency. Sequences that are common but not predictive are demoted. Sequences with strong retention correlation — even if rare — surface at the top.
Segment source connector GA
The Segment source connector is now generally available. Connect your existing Segment workspace in two clicks — your full event history starts populating the Prodlytix event graph immediately.
Prodlytix 1.0 — initial release
The first public release of Prodlytix. Included the auto-discovery engine (v1), basic funnel analysis, the JavaScript SDK, and a Segment source integration. Available to early-access customers.
