Common pricing questions
Any call to plx.track() or an equivalent event ingested via Segment, warehouse, or API counts as one event. Identify calls and pageviews are not counted toward your monthly limit.
On the Starter plan, events exceeding 500K/month are dropped until the next billing cycle. On Growth and Scale, overages are billed at $0.000018 per additional event. You'll receive an email when you reach 80% of your monthly limit.
No. Prodlytix is priced by event volume only. You can invite your entire product, growth, and engineering team without any additional per-seat cost.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
Yes — annual billing gives you 2 months free (effectively 17% off). All plans are available with annual billing. Contact us to set up an annual plan.
Signing up gives you 14 days of the Growth plan at no cost. After 14 days, you're downgraded to the free Starter tier unless you add a payment method.
By default, event data is stored in US-based infrastructure. EU data residency is available on the Scale plan — event data is stored and processed entirely within AWS eu-west-1 (Ireland). Contact us to enable EU residency before you start sending events.
Yes. You can export your full event history as JSON or Parquet at any time from the dashboard, or via the REST API. If you cancel, you have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted. We don't hold your data hostage.
